What Is Wellbutrin (Bupropion)?

Wellbutrin, also known as bupropion, belongs to a group of drugs called norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake blockers. It is a prescription medication used for treating mental health conditions such as major depressive disorder. In addition, it helps to prevent seasonal affective disorder [1, 2, 3].
